The first step when changing the front door window motor begins by taking out the front door trim panel. The first step involves removing the front door water deflector then the front door window. Unplug all electrical cables after which you should unscrew the front door lock module installation points and withdraw the module from the door frame. Put the new front door lock module into position while making sure the lock module locator pin points directly to the door upper edge. Reconnect the electrical connectors after screwing the assembly with 10 N.m of torque corresponding to 89 lb in. First reinstall the front door window and then install the front door water deflector and finally put on the front door trim panel.
