How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2 on 2004 GMC Envoy?

The first thing to do is lift and support the vehicle when replacing the heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 2. Take off the ho2s electrical connector from the Engine Wiring Harness Connector. Take out the ho2s from the Catalytic Converter using the heated Oxygen Sensor wrench (J 39194-B). Before putting in the ho2s, put some anti-seize compound (P/N 5613695) on the threads to help prevent rust and remove it more easily in the future. Using the heated Oxygen Sensor wrench (J 39194-B), put the ho2s into the Catalytic Converter and turn it until it is tightened to 42 n.m (31 lb ft). At the end, plug the ho2s electrical connector into the Engine Wiring Harness Connector and bring the vehicle back down. Be sure to clear the trouble codes from the vehicle system so the ho2s resistance learned value gets reset, or you may have ho2s trouble.
