How to replace the Brake Light Switch on 2004 GMC Safari?

In order to replace the stop lamp switch, unconnect the battery negative cable. Take off the retainer on the brake pedal pin, release the switch and pushrod and disconnect the electrical connector. When installing, reconnect electrical connector, fit the switch and pushrod and fit the retainer.
