How to replace the Power Steering Hose with RPO Code GT4 on 2004 GMC Savana 1500?

Before performing replacement of the Power Steering Cooler pipe/hose with rpo code gt4 begin by placing drainage under the car then disconnect the hoses at both the Power Steering Pump and gear. After preventing entry of dirt with end caps on the Power Steering Cooler you should remove the mounting bolts before extracting the cooler from the vehicle. First position the Power Steering Cooler inside its installation space and then install the mounting bolts while securing them at 5 nm (44 inch lbs.). Secondly attach the Power Steering Cooler hose to the power steering gear while tightening the fittings to 33 nm (24 inch lbs.). Then attach the hose to the Power Steering Pump. The power steering system needs bleeding before removing the drain pan resting beneath the car.
