The procedure for replacing the outlet Radiator Hose (3.1L) requires draining the cooling system as the first step. First position the hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to move the water pump housing hose clamp into place before disconnecting the outlet hose at the water pump housing. The hose clamp pliers (J 38185) should be used a second time for repositioning the hose clamp from the Radiator before the outlet hose can be disconnected from the Radiator . Muslim the new Radiator Hose to its correctly aligned marks then install it onto the Radiator. Attach the outlet hose to the Radiator while using the hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to mount the hose clamp on the Radiator section. Reposition the hose clamp on water pump housing with the hose clamp pliers (J 38185) before you connect the outlet hose to this housing. Finally, fill the cooling system.
