How to Service and Repair the Crankshaft Position Sensor on 2005 Buick LaCrosse?

In order to change the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor, switch off the ignition and lift up the car. Reinstall the wiring harness heat shield, disconnect CKP connector and remove sensor bolt. Install the new sensor, fix it, reconnect the CKP connector, replace the heat shield, and drop the car.
