    To replace the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor follow this procedure i.e turn off the ignition and raise and suspend the vehicle. Move the wiring harness heat shield to get access to it, remove the CKP electrical connector. Break out crankshaft sensor bolt and remove the crankshaft sensor. Installation: Install the new crankshaft position sensor and fasten it with crankshaft position sensor bolt bolted at 10 N.m (89 lb in) thread torque specified by Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Connect the CKP electrical connector, replace the wiring harness heat shield to the oil level indicator tube, and the last step is to lower the vehicle.
