To access the wiring harness heat shield users must reposition it first which allows them to disconnect the electrical connector from the CKP sensor. First remove the sensor bolt followed by the crankshaft sensor. Set the crankshaft position sensor in place using its dedicated bolt then torque it to 10 N.m (89 lb in). You should first reconnect the CKP electrical connector then reinstall the wiring harness heat shield onto the oil level indicator tube before dropping the vehicle from its support.
