  A: Commence replacement of the rear object sensor by initial removal of the rear bumper fascia. Lift the locking tabs on the housing before taking out the rear object sensor. The new rear object sensor needs to be painted before installation but the existing sensor paints must be left intact. Use a suitable paint gauge to measure paint thickness on non-ferrous metals for maximum thickness at 6 mm. Position the keyhole of the rear object sensor beneath the key then push the rear object sensor bezel until it sets flush with the fascia.
