How to replace the Knock Sensor (KS) for Bank 2 on 2004 Cadillac SRX?

Starting by turning off the ignition you should raise and support your vehicle to replace the Knock Sensor (KS) for Bank 2. Begin by removing the wiring harness heat shield covering the oil level indicator tube to reach the connector after which disconnect the KS electrical connector. The force comes off from the KS bolt and you should remove the KS. Install the new Knock Sensor in its designated position while you tighten the KS bolt to 23 N.m using a torque of 17 lb ft. Connect the KS electrical connector before reinstalling the wiring harness heat shield on the oil level indicator tube and drop the vehicle back to the floor.
