How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor on 2007 Buick LaCrosse?

In order to change the Crankshaft Position Sensor, one has to turn off the ignition and lift the vehicle. Reassemble the wiring harness heat shield, disconnect the CKP electrical connector and the sensor bolt. then screw in the new sensor, screw in the bolt, reconnect the CKP connector, and screw in the heat shield and then lower the vehicle.
