If replacing the Ignition Coil of cylinder 5, remove and reposition the Intake Manifold by removing the air cleaner duct from Throttle Body along with the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose from right bank camshaft cover while keeping the upper Intake Manifold connected to the lower Intake Manifold. Next, loose the Intake Manifold bolts, the Intake Manifold brace bolts (1 and 2), and the brace and then the upper Intake Manifold. Proceed to disconnect the Ignition Coil electrical connectors, Ignition Coil bolts, and ignition coils themselves. For installation, begin with the ignition coils, always ensuring that the fastener notice is followed in service precautions, then the Ignition Coil bolts by tightening to 10 n.m (89 lb in).
