2007 Buick LaCrosse Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the instrument panel Fuse Box on 2007 Buick LaCrosse?
A: Starting the replacement process of instrument panel electrical center or junction block requires disconnecting the negative Battery Cable. Begin the process by removing the outer trim cover along with disconnecting the body wiring harness from the accessory wiring junction block. After that, pull the harness toward you to expose the junction block for replacement. Remove both the instrument panel compartment and junction block bolt in succession. Pull the junction block away from the i/p after disengaging its tabs that connected to the passenger knee bolster. Install the junction block by positioning its bottom tabs and connecting the top portion onto the passenger knee bolster while adding the bolt then tightening it to 10 n.m of torque (89 lb in). While installing the body wiring harnesses into the junction block users should tighten the connection bolt to 2.5 n.m (22 lb in). Reinstall the ip compartment together with outer trim cover before restoring the negative Battery Cable connection.
