The Crankshaft Position (CKP) Sensor requires replacement after removing the supercharger assembly and disconnecting the crankshaft position sensor electrical connector. To access the crankshaft position sensor first remove its retaining bolt then pull out the sensor. Apply clean engine oil to the O-ring of the crankshaft position sensor before installation and check both the O-ring and sensor for signs of wear or damage. Study the O-ring for damage and choose replacement if faults exist. Fix the crankshaft position sensor to its mounting position while securing the retaining bolt at 10 N.m (89 lb in).
