How to Identify and Replace the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on 2006 Cadillac STS?

Begin replacement of the Intake Manifold Temperature (IMT) Sensor 2 by uninstalling the intake manifold sight shield. Take off the IMT sensor 2 electrical connector prior to removing the IMT sensor 2. Before installing the new sensor check that it matches the correct application part number then apply sealer to the sensor threads. Tighten the IMT sensor 2 to 20 N.m (15 lb ft) torque. Once you finish, attach the IMT sensor 2 electrical connector while reinstalling the intake manifold sight shield.
