  A: The fuel system pressure must be relieved before the upper Intake Manifold can be removed so the installer can replace the Fuel Rail together with its injectors. The first step involves taking off the fuel pipe retaining clip and severing the fuel feed pipe connection from the Fuel Injector rail. Compressed air should clear debris from the entrance of the fuel injectors into the Intake Manifold after which safety glasses need to be worn. Separate the Fuel Rail bolts and extract it with the fuel injectors while providing support to protect the injector electrical connector terminals and spray tips from damage. Secure the fittings with caps as well as using plugs to seal off holes during this process. Remove the Fuel Injector electrical connector and its retainer clip after which the Fuel Injector exits before moving on to discard the old Fuel Injector seals.
