How to replace the throttle body assembly on 2005 Buick LaCrosse?

Remove the air cleaner intake duct by turning the ignition OFF first. Pull the throttle body manual cable into the vehicle and connect it to the throttle position sensor. Ensure that the terminal match, then engage the terminal lug until locking. Ensure the manual cable connector mounting tab locks over the mounting tab on throttle cable. Next, unbolt the throttle body and pull it out with its gasket. Clean off the mounting surfaces of any kind of gasket or seal material prior to installing the new throttle body and gasket. Reinstall the throttle body bolting by tightening them to 10 N.m (89 lb in), and then rejoining the throttle body electrical connector. Finally, install back the air cleaner intake duct, and do the idle learn procedure with the use of the scan tool to erase all DTCs.
