After disconnecting the throttle body electrical connector press both latches with your fingers only since using mechanical tools will damage the equipment. Pull the connector steadily backward with no force applied to the wires. First unlock the wiring harness conduit and move it into position before removing throttle body bolts to extract the throttle body and gasket together. Clean all mounting surfaces free of gasket or seal material before installing the new throttle body and gasket. Secure the throttle body bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in) torque while reinstalling both components (wiring harness conduit and throttle body electrical connector). Reconnect the air cleaner intake duct as the last step of installation.
