How to replace the throttle body assembly on 2007 Buick LaCrosse?

Turn the ignition OFF and remove the air cleaner intake duct to get rid of the throttle body assembly. Do not use mechanical tools such as pliers or screwdrivers to detach the connector. instead, pull the two latches of the connector with a finger pressure and pull them straight backward without stretching the wires creating a damage. Next, take the throttle body electrical connector off, unlock and reconnect the wiring harness conduit, and next take off the throttle body bolts. Remove the throttle body and the gasket. For installation, remove any gasket or seal material from the throttle body mounting surfaces, then and NEW gasket, the throttle body. Make sure to tighten the throttle body hold Bolt down to 10 N.m (89 lb in) and reposition the wiring harness conduit and throttle body electric connector before finally installing the air cleaner intake duct.
