How to replace the throttle body assembly on 2008 Buick LaCrosse?

Turn the ignition OFF and Unclip the air cleaner intake duct as the first step in replacing the throttle body assembly. Do not use mechanical devices such as pliers or screwdrivers to disconnect the connector; instead, use finger pressure to depress both latches on the connector and pull straight back, without tugging on the wires preparedENTION not to damage the wires. Next, disconnect the throttle body electrical connector, unlock and move the wiring harness conduit out of the way, remove the throttle body bolts and remove the throttle body along with the gasket. For installation, clear the throttle body's mounting surfaces of any gasket or seal material, then install the throttle body with a NEW gasket. Make sure to tighten the throttle body bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in), reconnect the wiring harness conduit, connect throttle body electrical connector, and finally reinstall the air cleaner intake duct.
