How to replace the rear door window motor on 2005 Buick LaCrosse?

The first step to replace the rear door Window Regulator motor requires removing the rear door trim panel with careful prevention of paint damage also applying to the removal of the rear door water deflector. The next step requires removal of the Window Regulator before extracting the Window Regulator and motor through the door panel access opening. Disengage the bolts which secure the Window Regulator motor to the Window Regulator. Install the Window Regulator motor by attaching its bolts to the regulator then torque them to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Put the Window Regulator and motor into the access opening and mount the regulator afterward. The inspection should evaluate the window operation before the installation of rear door water deflector and rear door trim panel.
