Dangerous.decommunicate the wiring harness from the generator while repositioning the protective boot to expose the generator output bat terminal before extracting the generator output bat terminal nut to detach the battery positive cable. Finish by removing the generator mounting bolts so you can extract this component from the vehicle. Begin generator installation by placing the unit on the engine then secure it with the mounting bolts which must be tightened to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Attach the wiring harness connector onto the generator before inserting the positive lead and installing the generator output bat terminal nut which requires a torque setting of 12.5 n.m (111 lb in). Press the protective boot onto the generator output bat terminal before installing the generator brace and fasteners while tightening the brace nut to 50 n.m (37 lb ft) and the brace bolt to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Install the fuel injector sight shield followed by the Drive Belt and then connect the battery negative cable.
