  A: The first step for Clutch Master Cylinder (CTS) replacement involves stripping the insulator from the driver side instrument panel while disconnecting the clutch pedal position switch electrical connection. First disconnect the Clutch Master Cylinder push rod from the clutch pedal pin and then loose the clutch fluid reservoir retaining bolt before removing both the fender reinforcement and the reservoir. Draining coolant and disconnecting surge tank coolant lines should not be performed when this procedure is underway.
