Follow the sequence of removing the water deflector and then proceed to take out the outside Door Handle. Pulling off the e-clip from the lock cylinder lets you remove the lock rod and arm before opening the Door Handle clamp to free the lock cylinder that can be detached from its retaining clip for removal from behind the Door Handle. The installation of a new lock cylinder requires correct key and lock coding according to procedure.
