How to replace the fuel level sensor on 2005 Cadillac SRX?

The first step to replace the fuel level sensor requires the removal of the primary fuel tank module. Disconnect the fuel level sensor electrical connector which is plugged into the module. The removal process for the fuel level sensor from its module requires pulling the locking tab in opposite direction to the sensor before sliding the sensor out from the assembly. The sensor installation involves matching the tabs of the sensor to the module assembly slots followed by complete insertion until the locking tab responds then attaching the fuel level sensor electrical connector to the module and returning the primary fuel tank module.
