How to replace the fuel rail assembly on 2005 Cadillac XLR?

In order to change the fuel rail assembly, disconnect the negative battery cable and take away the fuel injector sight shield. Discharge fuel system pressure and take out the fuel rail assembly with care. Wipe the fuel rail using spray engine cleaner. Unscrew the required pieces, take off the injector O-ring seals and attach new injectors where necessary. Re-assemble and check against leakages.
