How to replace the fuel pressure sensor on 2005 Cadillac XLR?

The first step to replace the Fuel Tank pressure sensor requires uninstalling both the right rear wheelhouse liner panel and evap canister access cover. First detach the Fuel Tank pressure sensor electric cable before gently removing the sensor from the Fuel Tank with a screwdriver. A process of sensor replacement starts with engine oil application to the Fuel Tank pressure sensor rubber grommet followed by insertion of the sensor into the Fuel Tank opening before attaching the electrical connector. The last step includes putting back both the evap canister access cover and the right rear wheelhouse liner panel.
