To change rear axle shaft, lift up the car, and strip the tire, the wheel assembly and the brake rotor. Unscrew the rear cover, the gasket, and the pinion shaft locking bolt. Install axle shaft carefully and in position then reassemble parts. Lastly, put fluid in the rear axle, and lower the vehicle.
