  A: In order to replace the wiper motor, you should remove the wiper arms and the air inlet grille panel. Removing the wiper motor and unclipping the connection of the transmission drive link from the wiper motor crank arm using the wiper transmission separator (J 39232), remove wiper motor electrical connector and the three bolts connecting the wiper motor. After removing the wiper motor from the vehicle, install the new wiper motor by tightening it with the three bolts to 7.0 Nm (62 lb in). Image the entire connector, then reconnect the wiper motor electrical connector as earlier, lubricate the inside of the socket with the lithium-based grease (GM P/N 1050109, 1052196 or equivalent). Mount the wiper transmission onto the crank arm beyond the second detent to compress the seal to 25.5mm (l.0 in) max and install the transmission drive link to the crank arm with the aid of the Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529). Finally, place back the air inlet grille panel as well as the wiper arms.
