How to replace the thermostat in a 1.4L/1.6L DOHC engine on 2005 Chevrolet Aveo?

In order to replace the thermostat of a DOHC engine, drain the coolant and do not touch the pressure cap when it is hot. Disassemble and remove the upper radiator hose, throttle body coolant inlet hose, remove the thermostat and gasket and check it against damage. Return the thermostat, fasten it and replenish the cooling system.
