How to replace the canister purge valves on 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier?

To replace the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve, first of all, remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve harness connector, the next step is to remove the vacuum pipe and the purge pipe from the EVAP canister purge valve. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve with bracket, then take off the bracket from the valve and inspect the valve ports for carbon release. For installation insert the EVP canister purge valve, onto the purge bracket and tighten with the bracket using the purge bracket nut and tighten at 8 N.m (71 lb in). Then, attach the purge pipe and the vacuum pipe to the EVAP canister purge valve, and in the end, reattach EVAP canister purge valve harness connector.
