  A: A piece of heavy mechanic's wire must sustain the brake caliper so the hydraulic flexible brake hose stays attached during the replacement of the front Brake Caliper Bracket. Separate the brake caliper from its mounting bracket keeping the hose in place while you remove both brake pads and Brake Pad retainers from the caliper bracket. When removing mounting bracket bolts from the brake caliper always replace them with new ones because loosened mounting bracket bolts require immediate replacement. Keep discarded old bolts containing washers for future disposal after installation. After removing the brake caliper mounting bracket from the knuckle check for any damage or cracking then replace if required. The mounting surfaces need complete cleaning of adhesive before installing the new brake caliper mounting bracket to the knuckle. Use two new brake caliper mounting bracket bolts which come pre-coated with adhesive and tighten them to 175 nm (125 ft. Lbs.).
