Start the procedure of front brake caliper replacement by checking the fluid level in your brake master cylinder reservoir; proceed with fluid removal when needed. The fluid level should remain at the midway point when checked between maximum-full and minimum points unless it is above the midpoint which requires adjustments. Beginning with vehicle elevation support you can proceed to remove the tire wheel assembly before breaking for replacement. Begin by removing the inlet bolt on the brake caliper then separate the hose from the caliper. Toss out the stuck brake hose gaskets made of copper since they might be attached to either the caliper or hose end. Begin by plugging all openings on the caliper and hose before you completely remove the caliper from the mounting bracket by taking out guide pin bolts. Check the caliper slide boots for damage. if necessary, replace them. Screw the brake caliper back onto the mounting bracket while tightening the brake caliper guide pin bolts to 31 Nm (23 ft. lbs.).
