The installation process starts by clearing away the door check bolt and nuts until the door check becomes detached from the rear door. When installing the new door check, verify the orientation of its linkage arms that R points upwards for the right-hand side and L points upwards for left-hand side. Position the door check inside the rear of the door frame before securely tightening its nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Fasten the front door door check bolt to 9 N.m while observing an 80 lb in torque specification. The process ends by replacing both the rear door water deflector followed by the door inner trim panel installation.
