How to replace the EGR valve on 2005 Chevrolet Malibu?

Start the EGR Valve redesign by disconnecting the electrical connector connecting to the EGR Valve. Begin by taking out the egr pipe bolt followed by pulling back the pipe assembly before unbolting the EGR Valve and removing it together with its gasket. The mating surfaces for the EGR Valve Gasket need inspection before cleaning. First install an updated EGR Valve Gasket before putting in the EGR Valve and tightening its bolts to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Secure the egr pipe to its opening inside the EGR Valve and fasten the bolt by tightening it to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Complete the procedure by connecting the electrical power to the EGR Valve.
