How to replace the wiper motor on 2005 Chevrolet SSR?

Open the vehicle hood and take off both wiper arms before removing the air inlet grille panel to start replacing the wiper motor. First disconnect the electrical connector by lifting upward on the wiper motor. Then unfasten the wiper motor fasteners, transmission, and replaceable parts. Reposition the wiper motor into its place and join its electrical connector to the vehicle. Apply wiper motor fasteners with 10 N.m (88 lb in) torque and put back parts including wiper transmission, air inlet grille panel and wiper arms before putting the hood shut.
