2005 Chevrolet Venture Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to Replace the Headlight Bulb on 2005 Chevrolet Venture?
A: The procedure for replacing the headlamp bulb starts by removing the front park/turn signal/sidemarker lamp after opening the hood. You must start by removing the wing nuts from headlamp studs before lifting the headlamp forwards from the support panel. Turn off the electrical connection of the bulb/socket and position the lens face-down onto a flat surface that has a protection rag underneath. The process must be brief for removing the bulb and storage repairs should include leaving the bulb inside its housing for minimal nitrogen loss. The headlamp bulb/socket must be uninstalled through counterclockwise rotation. You should mount the headlamp bulb/socket by turning it clockwise while also reconnecting the electrical connector. Attach the lower pins of the headlamp support bracket to the locating holes before placing the bracket on its installation studs to mount the headlamp onto the body. After hand-tightening the wingnuts onto the studs proceed to reinstall the front park/turn signal/sidemarker lamp followed by hood closure.
