  A: First to access the Valve Stem Oil Seal replacement area the working cylinder Piston must sit at top dead center (TDC) position so the valve stays outside the cylinder. Take away heat from the engine before attempting to loosen the Spark Plug. Also clean buildup from the Spark Plug hole before removing it. Installation of Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794) replaces the Spark Plug port while compressed air holds the valves in place. To begin the process take away the Rocker Arm and compress the valve spring using the valve spring compressor (J 38606) while taking out the valve keys valve cap and valve spring. Check the valve spring condition. Replace it if harmful and remove the spring seal alongside the Valve Stem Oil Seal. Insert the new Valve Stem Oil Seal/spring seat over the valve guide with a proper driver tool and add the valve spring and valve cap. Place valve keys in position and secure them with grease when needed. Depress the valve spring once more with the valve spring compressor (J 38606). To take the valve spring pressure off apply the valve spring compressor (J 38606) and double-check the valve key positioning. Install the valve Rocker Arm followed by letting out the air pressure as you replace the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794) with the Spark Plug.
