How to replace the ABS Control Module with the JL4 on 2005 GMC Savana 3500?

Proper replacement of the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) with the jl4 starts with cleaning the electric hydraulic control unit (EHCU) area to avoid abs component contamination followed by dirt removal from the area. Disconnect the electronic brake control module (EBCM) electrical harness connectors while tagging the brake lines for correct reassembly before separating them from the bpmv. Unbolt the framework-mounted ehcu support bracket from the rails and extract the automatic control unit from the vehicle. Remove the four bolts holding the bpmv to the ehcu mounting bracket while you disconnect the 2-way abs pump motor connector. Insert new bolts for the ebcm installation while taking care to prevent damage by not prying the ebcm or bpmv so remove the ebcm from the bpmv with gentle force. Clean the mounting surfaces before installing the ebcm onto the bpmv without any sealant, using new ebcm bolts tightened to 5 nm (44 inch lbs.) in an x-pattern. Reinstall the bpmv to the ehcu bracket by using retaining bolts at 9 nm (80 inch lbs.) torque. Reconnect the 2-way abs pump motor connector to the ebcm before installing the bpmv. Reinstall the ehcu to the vehicle frame, tightening the three ehcu bracket bolts to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.)connect two electrical harnesses to the ebcm after installation. The bpmv brake pipe must be fitted correctly to the plastic bracket on the frame before final installation while applying 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.) torque to the fittings. Completely bleed both the normal brake system and the abs brake system before concluding the repair.
