How to Replace a Blower Motor Resistor Assembly on 2005 GMC Savana 3500?

The first step in replacing the blower motor resistor assembly is to disconnect its electrical connections. Use your fingers to pull out the blower motor resistor assembly after you unscrew and remove its retaining screws from the evaporator and blower module assembly. Place the blower motor resistor assembly into position and screw in its retaining fasteners until they reach 2 N.m of torque (18 lb in). You must reconnect the electrical links to the blower motor resistor assembly last. You cannot work on the blower motor relay as it operates with the blower motor resistor.
