Pull the fuel cap free then drain fuel which stays below the fuel tank fill hose. Begin the operation by disconnecting two retaining bolts with push-pins that fasten the filler neck to the body and proceed to lift the vehicle. Beginolation starts with unfastening the fuel fuel tube ground strap bolt followed by loosening the fuel fill hose clamp then disconnecting the fuel fill hose from the fuel fill pipe before extracting the fuel fill pipe assembly. Connect the fuel fill pipe to the fuel fill hose while aligning it with the fuel fill pipe housing then tighten the fuel fill hose clamp to 2.75 n.m (24 lb in). Before lowering the vehicle restore the fuel filler tube ground strap bolt by securing it to 8 n.m (70 lb in). Secure the fuel fill pipe housing bolts with its push-pin and tighten them to 6 n.m (53 lb in) while filling the fuel tank then place the fuel filler cap.
