Anyway to replace the exhaust crossover pipe begins by taking off the fuel injector sight shield and air cleaner intake duct. The first step of replacement begins with removing exhaust crossover heat shield nuts followed by the heat shield. First disconnect all exhaust crossover pipe studs and bolts before removing the exhaust crossover pipe and its seal. Placing the exhaust crossover pipe seal on the exhaust crossover pipe at the right exhaust manifold connection should be the first step before installing the exhaust crossover pipe. Attach the exhaust crossover pipe studs and bolts while tightening them to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.). The exhaust crossover heat shield needs to be reinstalled followed by securing it with heat shield nuts which must be tightened to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). To finish the installation process you should replace the air cleaner intake duct along with the fuel injector sight shield.
