• Q: How to replace the air hose outlet duct on 2006 Buick Lucerne?

  A: First disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor, and the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) tube quick connect fitting from the air cleaner outlet duct, to replace the air cleaner outlet duct. Loose the clamp for the air cleaner outlet ducts from the Throttle Body and then remove the duct from the Throttle Body and then remove it from maf/iat sensor and, completely come off. For installation, locate the new air cleaner outlet duct and application to the vehicle and the maf/iat sensor, turning the clamp at the maf/iat sensor to 4 n.m (35 lb in). Then install the duct to the Throttle Body and torques the corresponding clamp to the same torque specification. Finally replace the pcv tube quick-connect fitting to the air cleaner outlet duct and the engine harness electrical connector on the maf/iat sensor.
