How to replace the 2-3 Shift Solenoid Valve on 2006 Buick Terraza?

You should first remove the case side cover and take off the transaxle wiring harness to change the 2-3 Shift Solenoid valve. Take a small screwdriver or pick and remove the 2-3 Shift Solenoid valve retainer (314C) from the control Valve Body (301) before taking out the 2-3 Shift Solenoid (315B). Should the o-ring seal (316) be broken, take it off the 2-3 Shift Solenoid valve (315B). When installing, put a new o-ring seal (316) on the 2-3 Shift Solenoid valve (315B) if it was taken out before, then put the 2-3 Shift Solenoid (315B) in place and secure the 2-3 Shift Solenoid valve retainer (314 once the transaxle wiring harness is reattached, go ahead and put on the case side cover.
