Unfasten the egr pipe nut at the Exhaust Manifold before you can extract the egr valve pipe. The egr valve pipe installation involves positioning the pipe correctly at the Exhaust Manifold then tightening its Exhaust Manifold nut to 60 n.m (44 lb ft) while following the fastener notice in service precautions. During egr valve pipe installation, you will need to lower the vehicle before securing the egr valve pipe bolt at the water pump housing to 28 n.m (21 lb ft).
