How to replace the air filter element on 2006 Cadillac SRX?

Begin the air filter replacement by taking off the air cleaner intake duct followed by loosening the air cleaner cover screws. Move the air cleaner cover open and remove the air cleaner. First replace the new air cleaner then secure the air cleaner cover by tightening the cover screws to 8 N.m (71 lb in) per the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Reinstall the air cleaner intake duct as the last step.
