Begin throttle body assembly replacement by switching off the ignition and removing the air cleaner intake duct. Begin the procedure by disconnecting the throttle body electrical connector along with unlocking and relocating the wiring harness conduit. Finish by removing the throttle body bolts. Use caution when removing the throttle body assembly while also extracting the gasket. Cleaning the throttle body mounting surfaces first allows installation of the throttle body and NEW gasket followed by throttle body bolt tightening to 10 N.m (89 lb in) according to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. The throttle body electrical connector and wiring harness conduit need reinstatement with the air cleaner intake duct following installation.
