How to replace the throttle body assembly on 2007 Cadillac SRX?

To change the Throttle Body assembly, remove fuel injector sight shield and the air cleaner outlet duct. Remove the electrical connector from the Throttle Body assembly, and trim the mounting bolts and remove the Throttle Body assembly as well as the Throttle Body Gasket from the water housing, and discard this last. While installing, use carburetor cleaner to clean up the deposits and make sure not to use a cleaner that contains methyl ethyl ketone because it is likely to damage equipment. Mount a new gasket on the Throttle Body assembly, and reconnect the assembly to the water housing. Mounting bolts should be installed and tightened to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Now reconnect the electrical connector to the Throttle Body assembly, reinstall the air cleaner outlet duct and last but not the least reinstall the fuel injector sight shield.
