How to replace the throttle body assembly on 2008 Cadillac SRX?

The throttle body replacement starts with shutting down ignition and pulling away the air cleaner intake duct. Start by disconnecting the throttle body electrical connector before unlocking and moving the wiring harness conduit to a new position and then removing the throttle body bolts. Disassemble the throttle body assembly by removing both it and its gasket. Before installing the throttle body place a NEW gasket on it. Clean both mounting surfaces then install the assembly. After tightening the throttle body bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in) you should reinstall the wiring harness conduit followed by attaching the throttle body electrical connector. Add the air cleaner intake duct while performing the throttle learn procedure and scan tool procedure to clear all DTCs.
