  A: The replacement of the main fuel tank module begins with hose removal. Use the tool to disconnect the electrical connector from the primary fuel tank module but be sure the tool avoids the fuel pipe area during cam lock ring unlocking. The Fuel Tank Sender Wrench (J 45747) helps you turn the cam lock ring to the counterclockwise direction for taking it off from the fuel tank. Use a mechanical tool to lift the primary fuel tank module but only partially so you can reach the transfer tube before unfastening it through the locking mechanism and taking out the tube from the module. Pull out the primary fuel tank module with its seal while keeping in mind that the module and seal will not have further use. Install the new primary fuel tank module seal directly on the module before connecting the transfer tube to the rotating mechanism with attention paid to clear movement of the level float. Place the primary fuel tank module inside the fuel tank while pushing it downward until it lines with the encapsulated ring before fitting the cam lock ring.
